One more seat.
Your floor knows where to find it.

The floor plan keeps tables, bookings and available chairs together. It can find a single table, a join or a chair to move, within the limits you set.

Availability has a shapeAn example from the restaurant

Four seats. Then five.

A chair moves from T4 to T3. The table welcomes one more guest, and the table lending the chair keeps the seats it needs.

Every solution has boundaries.

  1. 01
One table, with the allowed seats.

The search considers minimum, maximum and the chairs actually available.

  2. 02
    An authorised join.

Groups configured in the same room and the maximum number of joinable tables come into play.

  3. 03
    The service stays protected.

A chair can only be lent if the lending table keeps its booked seats and minimum.

01 / Floor & tables

Chairs really count.

Every table has its usual, minimum and maximum seats. A chair can come from the room’s spare pool or from another table that can lend it.

02 / Floor & tables

You authorise the joins.

Choose which tables can be joined and how many at most. The engine looks for a solution among the groups you’ve configured in the same room.

03 / Floor & tables

Comfort or fit: you set the priority.

Decide whether to try extra seats or joining tables first. The solution follows the way you prefer to set tables and welcome guests.

04 / Floor & tables

Seats free up at the right moment.

Turns and bookings have time windows. During service you log arrivals and departures; the floor plan follows each table’s status and the next assignments.

Availability follows the floor you have, and the service you want to run.

All costs, in one place

Before you start.

Can Eatable move a chair from one table to another?

Yes, if you enable chair moves and set the table limits. The engine only considers chairs the lending table can give up without dropping below its booked covers and configured minimum.

Can every table be joined?

No. Only tables in the same join group in the same room are candidates. You can set the maximum number of joinable tables and a minimum party size.

Does the floor plan cost extra?

It’s included in the Base together with reservations. The Base costs €29 a month + VAT and includes reservations, floor management, digital menu, analytics, full-immersion service mode, guest database, restaurant page and opening hours.
